Sales of breast cancer treatments are set to increase by an average of 5.8% a year in major markets, increasing from a value of $9.8 billion in 2013 to $18.2 billion by 2023, according to IMS Health.

This market reached about $22.3 billion in 2014 and is expected to reach $27 billion in 2019, registering a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4% through 2014-2019. The prevalence leukaemia in the seven major markets is expected to grow from 2,24,060 in 2010 to 2, 31,210 in 2016.
